When Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson first met in a church in Hamburg they knew there was no going back. Ashley Hudson was only 17 and hadn't ever had a relationship previously, so they took it slow. Love was evident at first site. Andrew asked for Ashley on New Year's Eve just before the new year began in 2016, that God would give him a last blessing this year. That Ashley would marry him. Ashley was looking for an authentic folk-style wedding that represented both her and Andrew. The couple combined their favorite items for their wedding. Ashley developed in the 40-acre land that was picked as the location for their wedding. Ashley knew the entire area having walked through it and playing in the area. Andrew and Ashley have also explored this area several times since they began dating. Personalization was key since they did a lot of it themselves. Andrew Ashley's father and Andrew designed the ceremony arch as well as the seating arrangements, and Ashley did a great deal of designing and painting. Ashley claims that we might never have the amazing wedding I envisioned if it wasn't for Anna's floral designs. Truly breathtaking.
